Oxford High School Organizes Free Eye Check-up Camp: A Visionary Step Towards a Brighter Future
Oxford High School recently organized a Free Eye Check-up Camp, providing essential eye care services to the underprivileged. A week from today, on March 29, 2025, a significant step towards restoring vision will take place at Sushrut Hospital, Kolkata, where free cataract operations will be performed for eligible patients diagnosed during the camp. This life-changing opportunity will enable many elderly individuals to regain their sight and improve their quality of life.
The camp saw a large number of elderly individuals and people from low-income groups who could not afford cataract surgery on their own. Understanding the financial hardships they face, Oxford High School, in association with the Rotary Club of Ballygunge South and Sushrut Eye Hospital, has taken the initiative to bring about a positive change in our society.
